The new CPD45F8 from EP is a 4.5-tonne electric counterbalance forklift, built for the toughest materials-handling needs. It boasts the same competitive price, robust construction, and reliable components as a traditional diesel truck - but instead of a noisy combustion engine, it is powered by silent, clean Lithium-ion batteries.
Equipped with a cutting-edge 44.8kWh LFP battery, CPD45F8 can operate for up to five hours on a charge, and recharges rapidly. Developed inhouse by EP, the battery is maintenance-free, environmentally friendly, and includes an integrated Battery Management System (BMS) that monitors and protects each cell. This system is connected through a CAN-bus interface, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance. Operating information and battery status are displayed on a full-color LCD screen in the cabin.
Designed for comfort and productivity, CPD45F8 features a spacious cabin, optimized legroom and well-positioned operating pedals. With a powerful 18kW AC drive motor, solid-rubber tyres and IP54 ingress protection, the forklift can be used indoors or out in any weather, making it a smart replacement for IC trucks in for sectors like manufacturing and construction materials.
